Rules

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Note: The word's parent here is meant to apply both to parents as well as guardians.

Parents and guardians should be fully aware of the rules and regulations contained in the prospectus.
Parents are requested to cooperate with the school authorities and help enforce the practice of neatness, discipline, regularity, and punctuality in their wards.
Parents are requested to ensure that their wards reach school fifteen minutes before time; latecomers will not be allowed in, and parents leaving off their children at the gate will be doing so at their own risk.
Parents should arrange to take their children back home within thirty minutes after the school has given over. After this time, the school will not be responsible for the custody of their children.
Parents should ensure that all the personal belongings of their wards, such as blazers, pullovers, Tiffin boxes, bags, belts, ties, etc., are labeled and that their ward does not bring any valuable articles to school. The school shall not be responsible for any lost items.
Parents should inspire and encourage their wards to participate actively in all extracurricular and co-curricular activities of the school and to take part in all the examinations of the school seriously.
Parents should ensure that their wards attend school regularly. An absence of a pupil on medical grounds must be intimated by an application for leave from the parents. If a pupil continues to be absent without any application for more than a week, his or her name will be struck off. Re-admission will be subject to the rules of re-admission along with the payment of the readmission fee.
No leave for absence shall be granted during the examination. Absence on medical grounds will be sanctioned only when the application is certified by a registered medical practitioner.

INFORMATION TO STUDENTS RULES REGARDING DISCIPLINE

The aim of the school is to inculcate among the students the concept of effective ethical discipline. Students must regard discipline as a joyous pursuit for their own betterment. All students must abide by the rules of conduct and discipline of the school and must bear in mind the following:

Students must bring their dairy daily to the school.
Students must attend school regularly; any leave of absence must always be supported by an application.
Securing a minimum of 75% in class attendance is compulsory. A student whose attendance is found to be below this prescribed minimum level will not be allowed to appear for the final examination of that class.
Students should reach school punctually; no student will be allowed to enter the school after the bell has rung.
Students should come to school neatly in school uniform.
Students will not be allowed to go out of the school premises to meet anybody during school hours without the prior permission of the principal.
Students will not be allowed to leave during school hours. In case of an emergency, parents should contact the principal.
Students are required to maintain proper decorum and discipline both inside and outside the school. Any adverse report received in the school regarding the behavior of a student will be taken cognizance of and render the student concerned liable to disciplinary action.
Students must bring all the materials required in the class according to the timetable and should do the prescribed home work.
No student should remain in the class room at the time when school assemblies, games, music, or library periods are being held.
Students should maintain cleanliness in the school waste paper brakes kept in the classrooms and in places on the ground. They should also exercise hygiene in their conduct.
A student will have to be indebted for damage caused to any school property by his or her actions.
Students must sincerely, accurately, and promptly convey all messages sent from the school to their parents or guardians.
Students are not permitted to bring valuables to school. The school will not be responsible for any item lost, misplaced, or damaged.
Students, when called upon to attend extra classes to take part in other activities of the school, are required to attend.
Students must adopt a serious and responsible attitude towards all examinations conducted by the school. No re-examination will be taken.
Promotion will be granted based on the evaluation of the entire year's work status. It will not be granted to a student who fails to secure promotion.
The purchase of any article of food from hawkers outside the school premises is strictly prohibited.
Students must meticulously observe the rules of conduct prescribed in the school diary

PAYMENT OF FEES

All fees are chargeable for all twelve months in a year. No waiver in any fee will be made for continued absence on any ground.
Fee will be deposited between 1st to 20th of the prescribed month without late fee.
After the 20th of the prescribed month, a late fee of 50/- up to the 25th and ₹100/- after the 25th will be charged.
In case the fixed last date for payment is a holiday, the dues should be deposited before the last date to avoid a late fee.
A fee for more than one installment may also be deposited.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Since the school is an English-medium institution, students are encouraged and strongly urged to speak, write, and communicate in English.
If at any instance it is determined by the principal that the conduct or performance of the student is in conflict with or adversely affecting the interests of the school, the enrollment of the student can be revoked with immediate effect, and the decision of the principal will be final in this regard.
Irregular attendance, insubordination to the teachers, habitual attention towards school work, obstinacy in words and deeds, willful and repeated breach of any school regulations are liable to constitute sufficient grounds for considering the dismissal of a student.
It is essential that students attend school on the first day of the session and on the first day of resumption of the session after a long vacation. Absence will result in the student’s name being struck off the school rolls unless prior information explaining the absence on reasonable grounds has been given to the school.
Any breach of discipline, regularity, and other rules, as well as damage done to school property, shall invite disciplinary action by the principal, which may include the imposition of a fine
The principal is available in the school for consultations with parents between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on all working days or at any time with prior appointment.

Registration & Admission

Admission is open to all boys and girls, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion.
Dates for registration of names for admission tests and interviews for various classes are notified on the school notice board.
The office distributes registration forms and information on a on a specified date.
The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Registration does not guarantee admission. Admission will depend on the number of vacancies and shall be made strictly based on merit.
Registration in a particular year is not transferable to any other year.
Subjects of the entrance test shall be informed of the date of the test.
Both parents must accompany the child at the time of the interview.
For the entrance test, general questions are designed to test the ability of the child in reference to the standard of the class to which admission is sought at a permissible age.
Parents are requested to verify the date of birth of their wards at the time of admission. No change in the date of birth will be entertained later.
Rules are subject to changes at the discretion of the school.
The admission of a child would imply the complete acceptance by the parents/guardians of all the school rules in force as amended for the term.
The school reserves the right of accepting or refusing admission of a child after having tested and declared eligible.
